Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today launched the School Education Department’s innovative ‘Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme’ online from his residence office for competitive examinations of engineering and medical. Under this scheme, free coaching will be given to class 12th students in government schools through 146 development block headquarters of the state and 150 coaching centers including four cities – Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Korba. In front of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and School Education Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, an MoU was signed between Samagra Shiksha, Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation and Allen Career Coaching Institute Private Limited under the School Education Department for running the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister released a brochure prepared by the School Education Department regarding the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme. He discussed with the children present in the coaching centers of the development blocks of the state and took information regarding the scheme. During this, the school children expressed their happiness towards the scheme for their better future and expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister and the School Education Minister.

While inaugurating the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel made another important announcement for the career development of children in Chhattisgarh and said that in the near future, we will also make arrangements for better online coaching with all the facilities for PSC and other competitive examinations in all the development blocks. While inaugurating the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that this scheme will prove important in shaping the bright future of children. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to create an environment in every area. In this direction, our government first created an environment in the field of agriculture. Due to this, an increase was also recorded in the number of farmers and the area and production of agricultural sector. Similarly, people are seeing the impact of the work done in the health sector. The Chief Minister said that our government is continuously making efforts for the environment of education. Under this, a huge provision of Rs 1100 crore was made for the infrastructure development of schools. With this amount, necessary resources including maintenance of school buildings and rooms and additional rooms were arranged. Recruitment of 30 thousand teachers has started in schools.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that 753 Swami Atmanand excellent English and Hindi medium schools are being run in the state to provide excellent education to the children including rural and remote areas. Today the state of their popularity is such that 10-10 applications are received for admission to each seat in these schools. Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme launched today in the state will prove to be a revolutionary decision and an important step in the field of education. Earlier, the sound of bullets fired from guns used to echo in remote Naxal affected areas of the state. There today, the changes being brought in the field of education by the state government are creating opportunities for a better future for the children.

The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, we have taken one step further and made proper arrangements for teachers along with coaching. Separate nodal teachers have been identified for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects in a coaching centre. There will be regular observation of teaching work in coaching centers and feedback from parents will also be taken. There will be two-way communication in online classes, that is, students will be able to ask questions to subject teachers. During this period, students will be continuously assessed.

School Education Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, while presiding over the program, said that today’s moment is historic and unforgettable. The School Education Department has taken immediate action and implemented the announcement made by the Chief Minister on August 15. The Chief Minister has taken meaningful steps for educational development in the state. He said that earlier children studying in rural areas did not imagine getting coaching in institutions like Kota. The Chief Minister has started a scheme to make the future of children come true, which is a revolutionary step for Chhattisgarh.

Regarding the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla said that 146 development blocks of the state and 150 coaching centers including four cities Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Korba have been connected with internet connections and computers. Here, coaching will be given to the students studying in Mathematics and Biology faculty in class 12th. This free coaching will be given to Hindi and English medium students. So far 9 thousand 13 children have been registered under this scheme. Of these, 6 thousand 553 have registered for NEET and 2 thousand 460 have registered for JEE coaching.
