Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the Mahasammelan of Kosariya Marar (Patel) Samaj organized at village Karp in Narharpur development block of Kanker district today, said that the amount of the fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will reach the farmers’ accounts by March 25. The Chief Minister said that development work is going on continuously in Kanker district, schools and colleges are opening. With the facility of the medical college, the villagers are getting free treatment in the haat-bazaar. In the programme, the Chief Minister performed Bhumi Pujan and inaugurated 95 different development works costing Rs 143.92 crore for the development of Kanker district.

The Chief Minister prayed for the prosperity and prosperity of the state by offering prayers to Goddess Shakambhari Mata of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and Kosaria Marar (Patel) community in the Mahasammelan of Kosaria Marar (Patel) society. While saluting Shakambhari Mata, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that on the occasion of her birth anniversary, we have declared a holiday. The Chief Minister also announced Rs 50 lakh for the construction of a social building in Kanker to Kosariya Marar Samaj. The Chief Minister said that the first hostel for backward classes in the state was opened in Kanker, in which a 50-seater Other Backward Classes Girls Hostel is being operated from the current academic session. Now preparations are on to open hostels for the backward classes in the division headquarters and some big districts as well. He said that the state government has announced to conduct an economic survey from April 01, survey three points housing, Ujjwala will be based on gas connection and toilets. So that in the last 12 years the eligible beneficiaries of these schemes can be given the benefit of the scheme. He said that today 74 percent of the country’s minor forest produce is being purchased in Chhattisgarh and its value addition is also being done. This has increased the income of the people of Vananchal.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that economic prosperity has come in the villages due to livelihood-oriented activities in Gothans. In Gothans, work is being done fast in the direction of natural paint and electricity production from cow dung, such Gothans where more than five quintals of cow dung are being purchased daily, electricity will be generated in those Gothans. He said that with the aim of increasing health facilities in the state, medical colleges are being opened continuously for the last 4 years. District Hospital Kanker has also got the facility of MRI test. He said that the number of farmers in the state has now increased to 23 lakh 50 thousand and creating a new record, 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased this year. The Chief Minister also congratulated the residents of Kanker district for winning maximum prize in the Chhattisgarh Olympics.

Excise and Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA from Kanker Mr. Shishupal Shorey, MLA Anup Nag from Antagarh, MLA from Bhanupratappur Mrs. Savitri Mandavi, State President of Kosaria Marar Patel society Mr. Rajendra Nayak and District President Kaushal Patel also addressed. Excise Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma said that farmers’ loans were waived as soon as the government was formed under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Farmers were given input subsidy along with support price. Due to which the farmers got the price of paddy of Rs. 2500 per quintal. Tendupatta wages were increased to Rs. 04 thousand per standard bag. Help is being given to poor families under the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Labor Justice Scheme. Devguri, the place of worship of the tribals, is being constructed and Gotul is being constructed for the preservation of the culture. Anganwadi worker, The honorarium of Sahayika, Mitanin, Kotwar, Gram Patel has been increased. Chhattisgarh government stands with every section of the society.
Antagarh MLA Mr. Anoop Nag said that the state government is also doing the work of making the tradition and culture of Chhattisgarh comfortable. Along with the cultivation of vegetables and flowers by the people of Marar society, the work of making peacocks from the leaves of Chhind is also done, which is used in marriages. Mrs. Savitri Mandavi, MLA of Bhanupratappur assembly constituency, said that the people of Marar community are hardworking, their main occupation is agriculture. Vegetables are cultivated by them in an advanced way. He said that all possible help is being given by the Chhattisgarh government for the economic upliftment and progress of the society. Kosaria Marar Samaj’s state president Mr. Rajendra Nayak and district president Kaushal Patel also addressed and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for attending the general conference of the society. In the programme, the Chief Minister was honored by the representatives of the Marar community by wearing a peacock-crown and garland made of marigold flowers and chind leaves.
On this occasion, Parliamentary Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Tiwari, former MLA and Chairman of District Cooperative Central Bank Mr. Shankar Dhruv, Member of Chhattisgarh Scheduled Tribes Commission Mr. Nitin Potai, Member of Gauseva Commission Mr. Narendra Yadav, Member of Tourism Board Mr. Naresh Thakur, Member of Bastar Development Authority Mr. Biresh Thakur, District Panchayat President Mr. Hemant Dhruv and many public representatives, a large number of villagers and people of Kosariya Marar community were present.
