Camp organized in all gram panchayats
Raipur, 05 February 2024.Camp organized in all gram panchayats to provide benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, registration of women has been started in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. Through Anganwadi workers and field staff, door-to-door surveys are being done and offline applications are being filled. All applications will be registered online. Camps have been organized in all gram panchayats. Due to lack of documents like Aadhar card, bank account etc. during the survey, these documents are being made in the camp itself. The Women and Child Development Department has provided 10 thousand forms to the Gram Panchayats.
It is noteworthy that local residents and married women of Chhattisgarh state will be eligible for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The age of the married woman should not be less than 21 years on 1st January of the calendar year of application i.e. the year in which the application is being made. Widow, divorced, abandoned women are also eligible for the scheme. Under the scheme, a payment of Rs 1000 per month will be made to the eligible woman through DBT. Women receiving pension from social assistance programmes, various pension schemes, will be paid the remaining difference if the pension amount is less than Rs 1000.
Registration of online and offline applications has started from February 5 under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The last date for receiving applications is 20 February. The provisional list will be released on February 21. Objections to the provisional list can be made from 21 to 25 February. The objection will be resolved from 26 to 29 February. The final list will be published on March 1 and the acceptance letter will be issued on March 5 and the amount will be transferred to the eligible female beneficiary on March 8.
