Raipur, 19 December 2020. Forest Minister and Minister in-charge of Durg district, Mr. Mohammad Akbar today performed bhumi pujan for the hostel to be built at a cost of Rs 75 lakh in ward number-3 of Bhilai Nagar and Rs 25 lakh in ward number-7. Forest Minister Mr. Akbar said that with the construction of this hostel, students will get good facilities to study in an education hub like Bhilai. The minister said that the government is committed to improve the educational infrastructure in Bhilai, and in the field of education, many works have been done by the government to advance the youth. Similarly, with the construction of community hall, the residents will get better facilities for social work. The minister said that the government is committed to improve the infrastructure in Bhilai: education, health, beautification, A number of tasks have been undertaken by the government to further the livelihood activities. He said that the government is promoting livelihood activities by advancing self-help groups in urban areas. A number of important initiatives have been taken in urban areas and rural areas to promote self-help groups. He said that this hostel to be built at a cost of 75 lakh rupees will be very useful for the youth as there is a good environment for competitive examination in Bhilai.
On this occasion, the Forest Minister Mr. Akbar said that the government is committed to advancing civic amenities. For this, the government has launched several schemes. Every possible initiative has been taken to promote the facilities of the citizens through schemes like Pauni Pasari Yojana to Slum Health Scheme. The Minister in-charge said that the Chief Minister inaugurated many important works during his recent visit to Bhilai. The problem of citizens is being solved through ward offices. People are solving their problems by reaching the ward office near the house with this important initiative. On this occasion, Bhilai MLA and Mayor Shri Devendra Yadav said that on the basis of the feedback received from citizens, development works are being done in the city continuously. To pursue youth in Bhilai, Constant work is being done on creating infrastructure to prepare them for competitive examinations. The establishment of this hostel will help the youth a lot. He said that there are a large number of sports enthusiasts in Bhilai and also youngsters who want to make a career in the field of sports. Constant efforts are being made to provide facilities to them and significant achievements have been achieved in this area in the last 2 years.
