Raipur: Forest Minister Akbar planted saplings in Kawardha Forest Division

Raipur, 23 June 2021.  Tree plantation was done by Forest, Transport, Housing and Environment Minister  Mohammad Akbar during his visit to Kawardha forest division today. In Kabirdham district, more than 8 lakh 50 thousand saplings will be planted under various schemes by Kawardha Forest Division in the current rainy season. Forest Divisional Officer,  Dilraj Prabhakar informed that under the Plant Tuhar Duar Yojna, from June 25, the free plant supply scheme to reach home by vehicle will be launched from Kawardha Forest Division. Under this scheme Bamboo, Neem, Ramphal, Amla, Karanj, Tamarind, Mahua, Harra, Bahera, White Cirrus, Red Cirrus, Arjun, Mango, Jamun, Guava, Munga, Sitaphal, Jackfruit, Bell, Papaya, Pomegranate in Kawardha Forest Division Species of medicinal, timber, fruit and ornamental plants like Almond, Peltaform and Gulmohar are available for supply free of cost. To get these plants sitting at home, the beneficiary will have to call on the mobile number of the nodal officer and enter his name, his village name, species and number. On the stipulated date, the sapling will be supplied by the forest staff to all the beneficiaries of the village by transporting them together by vehicle.
