Raipur: Forest Minister Akbar handed over a check of 20 lakh rupees to the relatives of the 5 dead.

Raipur, 28 May 2021. Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar yesterday distributed an economic grant-in-aid of Rs 20 lakh to 5 distressed families at the rest house Kawardha during their stay in Kabirdham district.

During this period, Forest Minister Akbar killed his family member  Nand Kumar for death due to drowning of Chandrabhan Gendre, resident of Jaitpuri village under Kawardha tehsil and Rs. 4 lakh due to death of Dr Jeshka resident of village Jhalka due to drowning in pond while bathing. The family handed over a check of Rs 4 lakh to Mrs Rujeshwari. Similarly, Kawardha resident Dular Nishad under Kawardha tehsil died due to drowning in Sakri river, Rs. 4 lakh to his family, Mrs. Parvat Kantv and 4 lakh to his family Mr. Bharat Kaushik due to death due to snake bite of village Chanta Jha resident Chandrika Bai. He handed over a check for the grant-in-aid amount of Rs. Apart from this, a check of Rs. 4 lakh was handed over to his family member Mr. Radheshyam Meravi due to death due to drowning in Karranala barrage of village Pawanatra under Sahaspur Lohara tehsil. This amount has been approved under the provision of Revenue Book Circular 6 (4).

While distributing the assistance amount, Forest Minister  Akbar said that all the cases of natural disaster should be dealt with promptly by the concerned departmental officers so that the members of the distressed family do not face difficulties. Municipal Corporation President Rishi Kumar Sharma and Mr. Neelkanth Chandravanshi, Mr. Kanhaiya Aggarwal and other distinguished citizens and concerned departmental officers were present on the occasion.
