Raipur, 11 July 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while talking to All India Radio in the 19th episode of “Lokvani” to be broadcast every month said that full development in every area of Chhattisgarh is the priority of our government. This is the reason that a new form of development is visible in the state in two and a half years. The work of fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of every Chhattisgarhi is being done here. In this way, with the important resolution of “Yeh baat hai Abhiman ki, Chhattisgarhiya Swabhiman ki”, we are building “New Chhattisgarh”.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was talking to the people of the state on the topic of “new era of development” in Lokvani today. He said that from the forefathers to the new generation, there is a lot of enthusiasm for the development of Chhattisgarh. It is a matter of happiness that we have got the opportunity to fulfill this and fill their dreams with color. He said that I want to start my talk from where our ancestors Dr. Khubchand Baghel, Pandit Sundar Lal Sharma, Barrister Chhedilal, Minimata, Chandulal Chandrakar, Pawan Dewan, Dr. Tuman Lal, Bisahu Das Mahant, Dr. Radha Bai, B.R. Many of our leaders like Yadav, Thakur Pyare Lal Singh, social reformers, politicians, litterateurs and artists had dreamed of a separate Chhattisgarh state and fought for it. In fact it was not just a demand for a geographical area as a separate state in the map of India, Rather, it had centuries of pain behind it. It was a demand to fulfill Chhattisgarhia dreams and aspirations. Work is being done to fulfill this by our government in the state.
Work is being done to make every Chhattisgarhia’s eyes shine and smile.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that when people in the tribal areas of Bastar and Surguja were not getting the right price for their forest produce, we were heartbroken. When a farmer used to hang himself due to debt, our soul cried. When we talk about Chhattisgarhia’s aspirations, we talk about such development by rising above things like caste, religion, society, class, in which our traditions and culture are respected. In which there should be a sense of respect for the labor and produce of Chhattisgarhi brothers and sisters. It should be a matter of self-respect of Chhattisgarh. You have talked about shiny construction works, then I want to say that the shine of cement-concrete does not matter to us, it is important for us Chhattisgarhiya brothers and sisters to have the sparkle in their eyes and the smile on their faces.
The path of all-round development of far-reaching importance has been chosen for Chhattisgarh
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that if Narva-Garwa-Ghurwa-Bari has to be linked with the all-round development, rural economy and identity of Chhattisgarh, then it is definitely our priority. We talk about the basic development of Chhattisgarh and all efforts have been made in that direction, due to which the economy of Chhattisgarh remained on its track even in times of economic slowdown and catastrophe like Corona. When there was silence in the markets of the country and the world, there was enthusiasm in Chhattisgarh from the auto-mobile to the bullion market. Our factories and factories continued to run and Gauthan too. Our road is a bit long, but it is a path of sustainable development, which cannot be hindered by the throes of time. Our decisions not only provide immediate relief to Chhattisgarh but also open the way for all-round development with far-reaching significance.
New measures including innovation for the development of tribal areas also
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that we do not consider any issue related to tribals as small and clear instructions have been given to the administration to take new measures for the convenience of the general public in the tribal areas. You must have seen that in the last two and a half years many such small and big innovations have taken place, which are getting benefits. From Denex textile factory to role of women self-help in forest produce collection, development of Devgudi to value addition of local produce, many works have been done. There I had made a new guide line for the use of DMF, due to which a new record of success has been created in Bastar from malnutrition to eradication of malaria. Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinics scheme reaches 11 lakh patients, while 5 lakh people get the benefit of initiatives like Mukhyamantri Slum Health Scheme and Dai-Didi Mobile Clinic.
Roads worth 16 thousand crores will be constructed for smooth movement
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that our aim is to make life easier for the people living in rural areas, forest zones, settlements, towns and cities of the state. You will be surprised to know that in the next two years, we are building thousands of roads and culverts at a cost of 16 thousand crores. We aim to complete the road network. It should not be that there is a road, but no approach, no bridge or culvert. So there is a sense of totality in our projects. We have also made many records by preparing the roads of various schemes with ease. Let us talk about only one year 2020-21. In this, 4 thousand 228 km of roads were built in the state under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana’. Take out the history and see, not much work has been done in the last one year. Similarly, the completion percentage of PMGSY roads stood at 121. Under the ‘Mukhyamantri Gram Gauravpath Yojana’, 261 roads of 94 km were built,

Similarly, the number of medical staff has also been increased from 18 thousand to about 22 thousand. If special facilities were needed to fight Corona, we also increased the necessary equipment like ventilators, ICU beds, HDU beds, oxygenated beds, oxygen concentrators, all types of oxygen cylinders, PSA oxygen plants, liquid oxygen tanks, multimonitors. is. We are also opening new medical colleges in Kanker, Korba and Mahasamund, Due to which the number of doctors in the state will increase and the public will also get its benefit. If electricity is generated from the coal of Chhattisgarh, then the general public should have a direct share in its profit. This is the reason why we have implemented Bijli Bill Half Scheme for domestic electricity consumers. Under this scheme, more than 39 lakh consumers of the state got Rs. 1 thousand 822 crore in the last 27 months. have given benefits. Under this scheme, 400 units of electricity per month is being provided free of cost to every domestic consumer without any caste, religion or income restriction. Apart from this, about 6 lakh farmers using irrigation pumps up to 5 horse power are also being given free electricity. 30 units of electricity per month is being provided free of cost to 18 lakh families of BPL category. In this way, we have used the power of the government to make electricity a power of the people. Many works like transformer and line extension have been done. In this way, we have used the power of the government to make electricity a power of the people.
With the new industrial policy, there will be an investment of 47 thousand crore rupees in the state

There will be capital investment of and more than 67 thousand people will get direct employment. It will indirectly benefit lakhs of people. We have started action to set up food parks in every block. The work of infrastructure development has been started for the establishment of food park in Sukma. 78 crore in Durg district. Work has also started in the direction of setting up a large unit for processing forest produce at a cost. A dozen other such units have been tied up with private entities for setting up at different places. To provide direct benefits to tribals and forest dependent families, we increased the number of forest produce purchased on support price from 7 to 52. 17 increased the collection wages and support price of forest produce, Due to which more than 13 lakh tribals and forest dependent families get Rs 502 crore every year. Will get extra. Under the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana’, about Rs 5700 crore every year. is being paid. The payment from ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ is also Rs 125 crore. has exceeded. In this way, in just two and a half years, we have completed 150 irrigation projects including new and old and have started the work of 822 schemes, which is targeted to be completed in the stipulated time. As far as drinking water is concerned, we have started a big campaign through ‘Jal-Jeevan Mission’, under which pure water will be supplied from tap to all 39 lakh rural households of the state by the year 2023. Earlier, the target was to supply 40 liters of pure drinking water per person per day, which has now been increased to 55 liters per person per day. 850 crore for this scheme in the current year. budget allocation has been made. We believe that when pure water starts reaching every house through tap, then our mothers and sisters will get the most relief from it. If you start getting clean water from the tap at your house, then it is the right parameter of development. I want to tell that the Government of India has set a deadline of the year 2024 to provide pure water through taps to all rural households under the Jal-Jeevan Mission. But we in Chhattisgarh want to complete this work one year before so that it saves the time and labor of the people in rural homes early, so that they can pay more attention to the work like education, health, employment.
