Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel performed bhoomi pujan of 8 development works costing Rs 3 crore 91 lakh in a program organized at HUDCO located in Bhilai Municipal Corporation area today. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the government is working in a planned manner for the development of the city. There will be no shortage of any kind in the development work. The demands of the people will be met on priority. Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar and MLA Shri Devendra Yadav were present in the program.
Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Baghel prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state by offering prayers to Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman located at the venue. The Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the people who lost their lives during the Corona period and said that the general public, officials and public representatives together faced this crisis. He said that for such children whose parents had lost their lives during the Corona period, a scholarship of Rs 500 per month is being given to them under the Mahtari Dular Yojna. He said that the government has issued 56 lakh BPL cards and 10 lakh APL cards to the people and linked them with Aadhaar so that ration can reach the right person. The Chief Minister said that medicines are being made available at low prices under the Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store scheme. The government has given the facility of freehold, reduction in the registry rate and registry of small plots in urban areas, Which is benefiting in the development of the city. He said that the construction of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sarv Samaj Manglik Bhawan at HUDCO Maidan would facilitate people for marriage and other events.
Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that the government is working diligently for the development of the state. According to its promise, Chhattisgarh government waived loans to farmers, the first Universal PDS system in the whole country is implemented in Chhattisgarh. The government has kept its promise of providing ration to all. He said that the government would procure one crore five lakh metric tonnes of paddy in this season. There will be no shortage of funds for the development of the city. MLA Devendra Yadav also addressed the program.
Under Zone 01, Hudco and Sector 08 at various places, the cost of installation of Pavan blocks is 25 lakhs and Rs 19 lakhs is included in the construction of pachari and lighting in ward 70 Hudco pond. On this occasion a large number of people were present in addition to other public representatives, including the Vice-Chairman of the Antyawasiya Development Corporation, Ms. Neeta Lodhi.
