Raipur, 13 September 2020.  The Chief Minister said in radio talk Lokvani that different places in Chhattisgarh produce different types of produce and if they are taken care of, they can change the lives of the local people. The state government has started efforts in this direction. Along with grains, fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea etc. are promoting the production of everything. The effort is to have a good marketing system so that more production benefits. Mr. Baghel was asked by Ms. Madhu Tirkey of Jashpur about the scheme for development of tea plantation in Jashpur district. Baghel said that the review of forest rights leases had been revoked earlier and the work of granting personal leases has been expedited. On the other hand, land is also being allocated on a very large scale in community leasing. We have become the first state in the country to lease more than four and a half lakhs of forest rights and allot about 40 lakh acres of land. It is our endeavor that tribal and traditional forest dwellers should also get the benefit of this initiative in the form of new profitable farming. That is, the section which was away from farming is also being included. In the past, millions of farmers have returned to their villages and fields with the initiative of getting our loan waiver and good prices. This is a major success of our inclusive development efforts. During the Corona crisis, more than 7 million of our workers have returned. Most of them have found work in MNREGA. Employment has also been found in local industries. Our effort is to get better work for them in the state itself by their skill mapping and skill upgradation.
