During the Chief Minister’s Janchaupal , Chappu Lal Sinha, a villager of Dumarpani in Badal village of Kanker Vidhan Sabha, complained about the deteriorating health of the village residents of Dumarpani and Saigaon due to the intake of fluoridated water. Showing concern on this matter, the Chief Minister announced to include both these villages in Dudhawa Group Scheme so that pure drinking water could be ensured in these villages.

According to the National Family Health Survey-4 released in the year 2015-16, the rate of malnutrition (taking into account the data of weight of children up to 5 years of age) was 37.7 per cent and the national malnutrition rate was 35.8 per cent Anganwadi’s where hygienic and nutritious meals are prepared, proper care is given to children and medical camps are organized to scrutinize their health concerns. Hence, Anganwadi’s have a special role in fighting this battle of malnutrition. . According to the data released for the year 2020-21, the malnutrition rate of India has come down by only 3.7 per cent, while Chhattisgarh has successfully managed to reduce it by 6.4 per cent.

But after spending a few years in the Anganbadi, the girl is fully nourished and is in good health. The Chief Minister said that children are the foundational blocks of tomorrow, If the children are strong, only then Chhattisgarh would remain strong. During this, he also offered prayers at the historic Shiva temple. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. – During the meeting, a beneficiary of Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rani Jain told that she has made 125 quintals of vermi compost and has earned 49 thousand rupees through Gauthan. For two years, we have been planting vegetables in one acre, so far we have sold vegetables worth up to one lakh rupees. With this money, goat and poultry farming has been started. The Chief Minister congratulated her and said “you people are doing commendable work. Every success story inspires another person to do something good. You people will be given a goat shed for goat rearing”.
