Raipur, 20 October 2020, The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Chhattisgarh, through District Collector, grants financial assistance to the victims of various natural disasters. Under Janjgir Champa district of the state, assistance of Rs 28 lakh has been sanctioned to the natural disaster victims in seven cases.
In the cases sanctioned under Revenue Book Circular 6-4, Mr. Chunuram of Dongkoharoud village of Palgad, Tehsil of Janjgir Champa district died due to fire, Mr. Sunderlal of village Ghuichuwa in Tehsil Sakti died due to drowning in the water On the death of Shri Avinash Mehra of village Kapan from snake bite, financial assistance of Rs. Four lakh has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of the dead. Similarly, Smt. Chhotabai of village Tenduwa in Nawagarh tehsil died due to fire, Mr. Devendra Sidar of Datod village of Jaijpur tehsil and Mr. Dinesh Narang of village Kaitha died due to drowning in water and Mr. Satiguri of Baloda tehsil On the death of Sharda Sahis from snakebite, financial assistance of Rs. Four lakh has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of the dead.
