Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that the farmers of Surgi have set an example by donating 100 tractor paras, which is exemplary for others. Farmers have done a good job of participating in the Godhan Nyaya Yojana by donating money. The Chief Minister congratulated the farmers of the village who donated Para from the meeting-meeting stage in village Surgi of Rajnandgaon Vidhansabha. He encouraged these farmers by clapping the villagers. Before this, on reaching Surgi, the Chief Minister flagged off 100 tractors of farmers who had donated paras to Gauthan. 
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel started the meeting-meeting program with lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. During the meeting at Surgi, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inquired about the ground situation of the schemes of the state government from the general public. He said that the farmers who are using vermicompost in their fields and yards should get themselves registered for organic farming, as this would fetch them a good price for their produce. During the discussion with the villagers, the Chief Minister informed them about the schemes of the government. The Chief Minister said that we waived the loans of farmers, brought Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana for farmers, got ration cards made for women and Rajiv Gandhi brought Gramin Bhoomihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana for landless laborers. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 7,000 is being given annually to identified people including landless labourers.
