Raipur: Farmers of Mahasamund district urged to buy the crop taken on forest lease land

Raipur, 02 August 2021. A delegation of farmers of Bagbahra block of Mahasamund district met Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan here today and told them about their problems. These farmers told that the crops planted in the land of their forest lease land are not being bought by the society, due to which they are facing great difficulty. The delegation informed that in the past years, paddy was purchased by the cooperative society by registering forest lease land holders and revenue lease land together, but in the year 2020, their paddy has not been purchased by the Gramin Sewa Samiti Society, Khamharia. They are being provided with fertilizers and seeds. For this we also took a loan. The delegation requested the Governor to waive the loan and to make the registration unchanged in future. Governor Ms. Uike assured the delegation of all possible help.
Shri Jaiprakash Tandon, Shri Ramprasad, Shri Mukesh, Shri Roopram, Shri Narsing, Shri Anjansing Kamar, Shri Anjori Kamar, Shri Jeevrakhan, Shri Bhushan Lal and other representatives of village Jogidipa, Baihadih, Jamgaon, Teka, Tuhlu were present in the delegation.
