Farmers of Durg district elated with historic decision to buy 20 quintals of paddy per acre on support price
Farmer brothers said that the future of agriculture is bright for present and future generations.

The farmers of Durg district are very excited and happy with the announcement by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to buy 20 quintals of paddy per acre on the support price, giving priority to the interest of the farmers. He has called it a historic decision and a positive step taken by the government towards the economic progress of the farmers.
Expressing his happiness, Devendra Chandravanshi of village Pandar said that there has already been a communication of enthusiasm among all the farmers of his village and with this decision, future generations will also adopt agriculture voluntarily. He further said that Chhattisgarh is at the second position in the country in terms of paddy production during the last four years of the government and will soon be on the first position.
Mr. Mantheer Ram Sahu of Arsnara village said that he did hail plowing in his field today and other farmers are also doing hail plowing in view of the wet soil. He said that the day is not far when the farmers of Chhattisgarh will emerge strong on the world stage in the agriculture sector.
The support of the farmers on this decision of the Chief Minister is clearly visible in the social media WhatsApp group. In which small, medium and large farmers of all categories are expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister. Mr. Raman Tikaria, a farmer of Kauhi village, has said that this decision will definitely make the future of the farmers bright.
