Raipur : Farmers are getting inspired to plant trees on private land in Surguja too

Raipur, June 15, 2021. During the Inauguration and BhoomiPujan of Development works of Sarguja district today, beneficiary of government scheme, Madhu Chaudhary told Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel that she has decided to plant trees on 5 acres of land this year. Madhu Choudhary said that earlier there was hesitation in her mind about strict rules for cutting of trees on private land, which has now gone away with the relaxation of the rules. He said that as per the Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme, she has now decided to plant Papaya, Mehndi etc. For this, they are getting constant guidance from the Forest Department.

Chief Minister said that Surguja is a very beautiful district. People should be encouraged more and more for tree plantation. Chief Minister said that no permission would be required from any department in future for cutting of trees being planted on private land. information only will be required to be given. Shri Ramsunder Rajwade of Surguja told the Chief Minister that he has sold 188 quintals of paddy this year. He has received the first installment of ₹ 30,690 under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Shri Ramsundar Rajwade informed that he has decided to plant sandalwood and mango trees in the field this year
