Chhattisgarh Head of UNICEF Mr. Job Zacharias has also appealed to the people not to go in crowded places to avoid infection, keep a distance of 1 meter, wear masks properly and cover nose while coughing and sneezing. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to stop the infection, especially at the time of festival, everyone should follow Kovid friendly behavior.
Mr. Zacharias said that a second wave of infection has come in some countries of Europe. In Germany, 1000 cases were coming in September, which has now increased to 14 thousand per day. There were 3000 cases per day in the UK last month, which has now increased to 20 thousand per day. Similarly, infection is increasing in France, Italy, Spain and lockdown and other restrictions are being imposed. He said that in view of all this we need to be cautious. Even with mild symptoms, the corona should be tested immediately by visiting a doctor.
Health expert of UNICEF Chhattisgarh, Mr. Sridhar Ryawanki said that there were less than three thousand cases of corona in the state in June but people were taking full care and now about 2-3 thousand cases are coming everyday and there are 179000 cases still People are not wearing masks, Corona is not following favorable behavior. They say that any fever can be Kovid 19 and, if there is an infection of the virus, it shows symptoms within 2 to 14 days. Even if there are no symptoms, others may become infected with it. Therefore it becomes necessary to wear masks when socializing with others. Any type of disease should not be ignored because even people with chest pain, severe headache, sniffing and loss of taste, diarrhea etc. can also be corona positive. People who have other diseases like hypertension, diabetes etc. They have a high mortality rate due to infection. He said that there are more than 2 thousand deaths due to corona in the state. Therefore, the death rate can be reduced only by starting the treatment early. He said that after analyzing the cause of death, it was found that when the patient was admitted to the hospital due to carelessness and shortness of breath, it was difficult to save his life because by that time his lungs were damaged.
Shri Sridhar said that patients with less symptoms can be treated under the supervision of a doctor by keeping them in home isolation, if the patient is not in the high risk group, otherwise the hospital should be treated. Physical activities should be done regularly to avoid stress.
