Director of National Health Mission reviews NPCDCS program, rewards districts for excellent work

Director of National Health Mission Mr. Bhoskar Vilas Sandipan reviewed the NPCDCS program (NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF CANCER, DIABETES, CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES & STROKE). He instructed the officials of the health department to take the benefits of the NPCDCS program to maximum number of people at the district and development block level.
Mission director Mr. Sandipan encouraged to continue the good work by awarding the districts which have done excellent work in screening, re-screening, diagnosis of diabetes and diagnosis of high blood pressure at the district and block level in the review meeting held at Swasthya Bhavan, Nava Raipur. . He presented insignia and certificates to the officers. Dr. Netram Navratan, Deputy Director, NPCDCS, Dr. Sumi Jain, NCD State Program Coordinator, Nodal Officers and Assistant District Nodal Officers of all the districts were present in the review meeting.
