Raipur: Excellent performance of children of Prayas and Eklavya in JEE Mains examination

Result boy and girlIn the year 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the result of JEE MAINS examination conducted in the month of June and July 2022. In the declared result, a total of 360 students from Prayas Boys and Girls Residential Schools, Raipur Durg Bilaspur, Bastar Surguja, Kanker Korba, Jashpur districts had appeared, out of which 192 students have qualified for JEE ADVANCE, the best result was of Kanya Prayas Residential School, Gudhiyari, Raipur. From where a total of 38 girls had appeared in which 32 qualified, 72 students from Prayas Bal Raipur, in which 56 qualified, similarly 27 from Durg, 17 from Bilaspur, 16 from Bastar, 17 from Surguja, 12 from Jashpur, 10 students from Kaker and 05 from Korba have qualified for JEE ADVANCE.

Similarly, a total of 102 students from Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential Schools had appeared in the above examination, out of which 47 students have qualified for JEE ADVANCE. On this success of the students, Departmental Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Secretary Tribal Department Mr. DD Singh and Commissioner Mrs. Shammi Abidi wished them for their bright future.

It is worth mentioning that Prayas residential schools are selected through the state level entrance examination in class 9th and school education from class 9th to 12th as well as all India level entrance examination such as JEE MAINS, ADVANCE, NEET, NTSE , CA, CS and CLAT coaching is done. Its objective is to enable the students to enter the national level educational institutions of excellence. So far 97 students from these schools have attended IITs. 261 students in NIT In this, 44 students have achieved special achievement by getting admission in MBBS courses in various medical colleges of the state, besides 29 students have been successful in getting admission in CA, CS, CMA and 3 in CLAT. So far 833 students have been successful in getting admission in various engineering colleges of the state.
