Chief Minister participated in the divisional level RIPA workshop organized at Shaheed Gundadhur Agricultural College

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended a one-day workshop at the Bastar division level of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) at Shaheed Gundadhur Agricultural College and Research Center Kumhrawand Jagdalpur here today. Under RIPA, this park has been established in rural areas to provide employment to the people of rural areas through various activities and production. The Chief Minister said that employment opportunities are being created in rural areas through RIPA. Now the youth will not have to go out in search of work. Under the plan, an amount of Rs 2 crore per industrial park has been approved. Bastar, Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur of Bastar Division, Participants from Kanker Sukma and Kondagaon districts participated. The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the women self-help groups associated with Ripa to become self-reliant. A total of 64 RIPAs have been approved for all the 32 development blocks of Bastar division. 300 RIPA operations are being done in the entire state. The Chief Minister released the memento of Bastaria Ripa.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that during the last four years, the rural economy has been strengthened by the implementation of Suraji Gaon Yojana Narwa, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari. Fish farming, poultry farming, mushroom production are being done by self-help groups in rural areas. Within the last three years, five and a half thousand Gothans have become self-supporting. Dung is being purchased during the Gothan committee. Day care center has been developed at Gauthan. 28 lakh quintal vermicompost has been prepared in Gothans of the state. The amount is being directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries selling cow dung. Similarly, money is being transferred online for sale of minor forest produce, tendu leaves and in the accounts of collectors. 67 types of forest produce are being procured by the State Government on the support price. Apart from this Kodo, Kutki, Ragi is also being procured at support price. C-mart has been set up in every district to sell rural produce. Market is being made available through C-Mart. Now connecting Gauthan with Wi-Fi. There has been an increase in the number of farmers in forest areas like Bastar, Surguja. Now it has been decided to purchase 20 quintals of paddy per acre at the support price.
It is to be known that mushroom spawn unit production, cashew processing, tikhur processing, small grains (kodo, kutki, ragi) processing, spice processing, aromatic rice milling, tamarind candy production, silk threading, oven bag manufacturing, poha production, khadi production in Bastar district. Weaving and training of textile and silk fabric, production of poultry feed and animal feed, bakery unit and production of natural cow dung paint etc. are being done by the beneficiaries.
