Raipur: Efforts in NEET exam and excellent performance of children of dropper batch scheme, admission of 39 children in MBBS is possible

210 children of Prayas Residential School qualified in the examination

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NTA 2023). The children of Prayas residential school, run under the Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Department in the state, have performed brilliantly in this. Out of total 572 students of Prayas Residential School who appeared in the exam this year, 210 have qualified in the exam. Out of these, 08 students and 04 students of the dropout batch of Prayas also have a strong possibility of admission in MBBS. Similarly, about 27 of the total 85 students receiving training under the pre-medical and pre-engineering examination pre-training (dropper batch) scheme run by the department are likely to get admission in MBBS.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam congratulated the students on this achievement and wished them a bright future.

Prayas Girls Residential School, Gudhiyari, Raipur has been the best performer in the declared examination results. From here out of 61 students appeared in the exam, 47 students have qualified NEET. Similarly, 17 out of 55 in Prayas Boys Residential School, Raipur, 22 out of 63 in Prayas Bilaspur, 17 out of 68 in Prayas Ambikapur, 23 out of 68 in Prayas Durg, 13 out of 66 in Prayas Jashpur, 55 in Prayas Korba. 24 out of 68 from Prayas Kanker, 19 out of 68 from Prayas Jagdalpur have qualified. Thus out of total 572 students, 210 students have qualified NEET, which is a great achievement for the department.

Thus, overall 39 students are likely to get admission in MBBS while many of the remaining qualified students are likely to get admission in BDS and BAMS. Department’s Secretary Mr. D.D. Singh and Commissioner Mrs. Shammi Abidi have also congratulated the students on this achievement and wished them a bright future.
