Raipur: Education will develop society: Dr. Charandas Mahant

Raipur, 17 February 2021. The President of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant inaugurated the community building of Jheria Yadav Samaj at Jetha Jetha village of Sakti development block in Janjgir-Champa district today. Addressing the function organized on this occasion, Dr. Mahant said that education is necessary for the development of society. It is the responsibility of the office bearers of the society to advance the people in the field of education, so that the society can move forward on the path of development. Dr. Mahant stated the need for continuous efforts to avoid social evils. Emphasizing on social unity, the Speaker in his address said that unity is necessary for the development of society. He said that small organizations are of no importance in society. Do not undermine yourself by making small organizations.

 

Dr. Mahant said that Gauthan is being constructed in all gram panchayats under Suraji village scheme by the state government. He said that the people of the society should look after the Gothans and get employment by getting connected with developmental activities with the economic activities of the Gothan and ensure their economic development. The Assembly Speaker said that the traditional role of the Yadav society has been important in the promotion of Godhan. In the program, Jajaipur MLA Shri Keshav Chandra in his address motivated to avoid social evils and to advance in the field of education.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Mahant today met local public representatives and dignitaries in Sakti’s rest house. On this occasion, individual forest rights pattas were distributed to 34 forest dwellers on forest land of various villages of Sakti Subdivision Forest Department area. Offering 10 battery operated sprayer devices under the scheme of Agriculture Department and motorized bicycle to Divyang Mr. Anil Sarathi under the scheme of Social Welfare Department and wished his bright future to the beneficiaries. District Panchayat President, Mrs. Anita Yashwant Chandra, Mr. Amit Rathore, Mr. Gulzar Singh, President of Municipality Janjgir-Naila, Mr. Bhagwan Das Garhwal and other officials of the society were present.
