According to the feelings of all of you Surguja residents, the medical college was inaugurated today. When we used to meet Rajmata ji, we all used to get the same love, affection and caress that the people of Surguja and the members of the Raj family used to get. Today this college is being dedicated in her memory, so surely she would be giving us her blessings wherever she is. In the field of medicine, in the field of health, in the field of employment, in the field of agriculture, the way our government is working to increase the income of our Sarguja people living in Vananchal, we must be getting their blessings.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Surguja division is a tribal dominated division. This is the section of the society which has been deprived of basic facilities and rights for centuries. I am happy that due to our efforts, today the light of medicine and education is reaching the tribal areas of the state. When we started the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazar Clinic Yojana, its aim was to provide health facilities to remote villages. When we started the Mukhyamantri Slum Swasthya Yojana and Dai-Didi Clinic Yojana, our aim was to provide medical facilities to the poor people and mothers and sisters living in the slums of the city, but our aim is much bigger than this. We don’t just want to provide convenience to the citizens, But also want to ensure access to state-of-the-art and quality facilities. Our aim is to create such a strong infrastructure of medical and education that Chhattisgarh’s identity is established at the international level. During our tenure, steps have been taken in the direction of opening 8 new government medical colleges in the state. Of these, 04 have been opened, 04 more are in process. We have equipped all our government hospitals from development block to district headquarters with facilities. To overcome the shortage of doctors and medical staff, they have been deployed. 04 more are in process. Mother’s aanchal was same for all Surguja residents.
Remembering his mother with emotion, Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev said that today this medical college is being dedicated in her memory. When tributes were being paid to Mataji in the Vidhansabha, the Chief Minister had announced that Ambikapur Medical College would be named after Mataji. Today we are all gathered here on the inauguration of Rajmata Smt. Devendra Kumari Singhdev Government Medical College. My mother was not only a mother to me, Rather, his zenith was equal for the entire Surguja region. She used to look at Sarguja with great affection and love. She did not hesitate to go to the Chief Minister by taking even the smallest work in the interest of the people of the region. Today Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has made all of us proud by associating his name with a big organization. Mr. Singhdev said that till now there was no unit in Surguja in the name of his parents. Those who did a lot for Surguja but never expressed or told. This is the first unit through you today. An honor has been given to such a loving nature today, for that I express my gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister and the Government of Chhattisgarh. Better conditions are available in this medical college than other medical colleges located in the state, so that children can study here very well and after passing out from here, doctors will render their services in the state.
