Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the inauguration program of the International Virat Suryansh Shiksha Mahamahotsav organized at village Seoni in Janjgir-Champa district today. During this, he said that it was a pleasure to know that the Suryavanshi community understood the importance of education and chose education to advance the children of their society. Education is the light and light through which one gets the inspiration to move forward and fight against injustice. Giving information about the efforts being made by the Chhattisgarh government in the direction of education, health and employment, he said that now the identity of Chhattisgarh is changing. The state is developing along with changes in other fields including cultural, economic, social.
At the Suryansh Maha Mahotsav organized by Suryansh Shiksha Utthan Samiti, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that he feels peace and relaxation after coming here. Before the independence of the country, illiteracy and evil practices deprived the society of education, then the great men of the society contributed to make the coming generations aware of education and educated. It is a matter of great pleasure that today the society is moving ahead by remembering the contribution of those great men and ancestors. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar had given the message that be educated, be united, struggle. Along with this, Buddha’s compassion, friendship and wisdom were also emphasized. Our government also provides education, health, Working towards employment. Schools in Naxal areas are being renovated. Arrangements are being made for teachers. A provision of one thousand crore rupees has also been kept in the state budget to improve the temple of education. While on the one hand quality education is being given in English and Hindi by opening the all-facilitated Swami Atmanand School, two new universities have been opened, On the other hand, we are laying emphasis on employment oriented education system. For this, keeping in view the demand of ITI, a provision of Rs 1200 crore has been made for new trade and skilling of students up to class 12th. He said that 4 new medical colleges have also been opened to overcome the shortage of doctors. Medical college will soon open in Janjgir. Giving information about health facilities for free treatment of the poor, he said that for the treatment of serious diseases, up to Rs 20 lakh is given under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme. Under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Scheme, malnourished children are being made well-nourished.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that plans have been made from birth to death. The government is putting money in the pockets of all the poor of Chhattisgarh. Apart from purchasing paddy on support price in the state, along with giving input subsidy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, cattle herders are being benefited by making Gauthans under the Godhan Nyay Yojana and purchasing cow dung. The Chief Minister said that apart from making lamps, decorative items, manure from cow dung, now natural paint is also being prepared. Using this in school buildings, women of self-help groups will be linked with employment. He talked about giving 7 thousand rupees annually from the Rajiv Gandhi Landless Rural Agricultural Labor Justice Scheme and buying minor forest produce from the forest dwellers at a higher price and quantity. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel visited the birthplace of Guru Ghasidas, Giroudpuri, Lalpur, Gave information about developing other places including Amarpur. He said that development of Ramvangaman tourism circuit and culture is also being promoted through Ghotul, the national tribal dance. In the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel honored the people doing excellent work in the society with Suryavanshi Ratna Samman and other honours. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar and worshiped the great men of the society.
In-charge of the district, Revenue Disaster Management, Registration and Rehabilitation Minister Mr. Jai Singh Agarwal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, attention is being paid to the upliftment and development of all sections of the society. Funds are being provided for the building along with allotment of land to organize and advance the society. He said that the Government of Chhattisgarh has made schemes for the poor, farmers and laborers. Cow service and women self-help groups have been linked with employment by developing Gauthan. The purchase of cow dung is being linked to economic development. Due to this, Chhattisgarh has been recognized at the national level. He talked about giving all possible help to the society.
