Women earned an income of Rs 2 lakh 56 thousand in Ripa

Due to the manufacture of readymade garments in Ripa made in Gauthan, women groups are not only getting employment, but they are also earning a lot of income. More than 8 self-help groups of women are associated with the readymade garment manufacturing unit started by women.
The readymade garment manufacturing unit operated in Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park of village Marri Bangla in Balod district has become an effective means of providing employment. Here the rural youth are getting business of their interest in the village itself. So far, women have earned an income of Rs 02 lakh 56 thousand from the manufacture of readymade garments.
Readymade garments of petticoats, T-shirts are being manufactured in this readymade garment manufacturing unit. The value of the materials manufactured in this readymade unit is Rs 06 lakh 97 thousand and the total cost of the manufactured materials is Rs 04 lakh 91 thousand. Women of Sai Baba Self Help Group, Jai Maa Tulsi Self Help Group, Bharat Mata Self Help Group, Jai Ganga Maiya Self Help Group, Jai Maa Shakambhari Self Help Group, Jai Maa Danteshwari Self Help Group, Minimata Self Help Group, Narmada Self Help Group etc. are associated in this unit.
Mrs. Heermotin Bai, associated with readymade garments manufacturing, told that with the start of readymade garments manufacturing unit in her village, she is getting work of her choice in the village itself. She told that earlier she used to do sewing-weaving work in her house, but due to lack of proper arrangement of materials required for this, she could not do this work well. Due to which he did not get any special income. But today with the commencement of readymade garments manufacturing unit in Ripa of his village, he is getting ample work.
Mrs. Pushpalata told that after completing her domestic responsibilities, she is manufacturing readymade garments in Ripa, due to which she is earning a lot of income. He has heartily thanked the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s government for providing employment to women.
