The industrial friendly policy of the Government of Chhattisgarh has created a good environment for the establishment of new industries and business in the state. Entrepreneur has shown keen interest for setting up industries in Chhattisgarh. In the last three and a half years, 178 MoUs have been made for the establishment of industries in the state, in which capital investment of more than Rs 90 thousand 077 crore is proposed, through the establishment of these industries, 1 lakh 10 thousand 303 people are proposed to be provided employment. has gone.

      According to the information received from the Industries Department, a capital investment of Rs 4,126 crore has been made in the state under the MoU for the establishment of new industries. By May 2022, production has started in 11 industrial units established in the state. A capital investment of Rs 1385 crore has been made in the establishment of these industries, through which 1974 people have got employment opportunities. So far, capital investment of Rs 2741 crore has been made by the entrepreneurs in the industrial units under construction in the state.

        It is worth noting that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy has been implemented, in which a good environment has been created for the establishment of industries and business in the state. The rules related to the establishment of industries have been simplified under the Ease of Doing Business. Single window system has been implemented to provide various clearances to the industries. While many services have been made online, practical provisions have been made for allotment of land to industries and freeholding of land. 

        Under the Ease of Doing scheme, the process of various types of approval, license and registration has been simplified by using state-of-the-art information technology to simplify the procedures of the concerned government departments for the establishment of new industries. Arrangements have been made to complete all the processes within the stipulated time frame. Before the formulation of the new industrial policy, practical provisions have been made in consultation with various industry associations, industrialists.
