Raipur 26 September 2020. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that the Government of Chhattisgarh stands firmly with poor farmers, tribals and laborers in the time of Corona crisis. He said that people in the country and the world had to face economic difficulties during the time of crisis, but Chhattisgarh has remained untouched by it. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was addressing the inauguration and foundation laying ceremony in Kondagaon today through video conferencing from his residence office. On this occasion, the Chief Minister handed over about 300 crore rupees for development and construction works to Kondagaon district, including the inauguration of 25 works costing 155 crore rupees and the foundation stone of development works worth 145 crore rupees. The Chief Minister also launched several innovative programs.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that due to public welfare policies and programs of the state government, the economy of the state has remained dynamic even during the Corona crisis. On this occasion, he referred to several public welfare programs of the state government and said that the third installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana has been launched with the aim of giving farmers a fair price for their produce and to promote crop productivity. State Foundation Day will be given on November 1. The Chief Minister said that the State Government provided financial support to the people by providing them the means of employment and income regularly through the MGNREGA, loan waiver of farmers, purchase of paddy, Godan Nyaya Yojana, collection of minor forest produce and support price. is.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 49 works costing 300 crore in Kondagaon district through video conferencing, mainly the establishment of Maa Danteshwari Maize Processing Unit, Maha Narier Abhiyan, Tatamari Tourism Center, Valley of Flowers, Keshkal, Mari Area Livelihood Development Project, Udaan Aajeevika Kendra and Sensation Program, Limdaraha Midway, District Library and Study Center, Bus Stand Kondagaon, Kosar Teda Water Augmentation Scheme. MLA Shri Mohan Markam presided over the program.
The Chief Minister said that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana being operated in the state of Chhattisgarh is unique in itself with the objective of protecting and promoting cow-mothers and providing additional sources of income to the cowherders. People in the country and the world have appreciated this scheme. He said that through this, an amount of Rs 21 crore has been paid so far in lieu of sale of cow dung to cowherds and villagers. The Chief Minister reiterated his resolve to make the Gouthans built and operated in the villages under the Suraji Gaon Yojana a center of livelihood for the villagers, saying that Gauthanas have been constructed in more than 50 per cent of village panchayats in the state. Construction of Gouthans in 100 per cent Gram Panchayats and procurement of cow dung and other income oriented activities in Gouthans is our goal. We are developing Gouthanas as centers of self-employment and livelihood.
