The brand Danex has sold merchandise worth 12 million to a Bangalore based company, besides TRIFED has been dispatched to the tune of Rs 6 lakh. The women working here with all hard work and dedication are very happy with this success, they hope that their district will soon be free from poverty.
Bangalore-based Denex-produced garments have been dispatched from the district on Monday. The fabric manufactured by a Bengaluru company will be sent to leading fashion brands in the country from where customers from all over the country can purchase it. At the inauguration of DENEX, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had also praised DENEX and said that soon its name will also shine in the country and abroad. Under the guidance of his courageous Afzai and the Collector of the district, Mr. Deepak Soni, the women of tribal dominated and Naxalite affected districts have got this golden opportunity. Following the Kovid-19 guide lines, all women are constantly working and getting their skills ironed, That is why, soon after its launch, a company in a big city like Bangalore has bought the entire goods worth Rs. 1 crore 20 lakhs. At present, a check of Rs 10 lakh 63 thousand has been provided to them for this goods. After the first shipment, their confidence has increased and they have all started working more diligently. Expressing happiness on this occasion, Karmaveer women of Denex say that now is not the day when our Dantewada district will also be poverty free.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the DENEX Nava Dantewada Garment Factory operated by Bihan women groups in village Haram of Gidam development block on 31 January 2021 and interacted with the women and girls working there during observation and got them excited and prepared in fact. The quality of the garments being made was appreciated. This garment factory has been started in Dantewada district by training local women on the initiative of the district administration to eradicate poverty. In order to provide regular employment to women in this state-of-the-art factory, MoU has been signed with TRIFED, CRPF, NMDC for the sale of the products here. 1.92 crores for this project. The textile unit has been set up on 5 acres of land.
