Raipur: District Panchayat members supported 20 lakh rupees to help patients in the new Covid Hospital, Balodabazar

District Panchayat Balodabazar has contributed Rs 20 lakhs to assist the patients in 500 bedded Kovid Care Hospital built by converting the warehouse of Krishi Upaj Mandi at District Headquarters, Balodabazar. District Panchayat President Shri Rakesh Verma handed over a check of Rs 20 lakhs to the District Collector Mr. Sunil Jain. Shri Jain expressed his gratitude to all the members for their cooperation. He said that corona can be avoided only by following the rules of rescue with solidarity. On this occasion, CEO of Fariha Alam Siddiqui and members of Zilla Panchayat were present.

    It is noteworthy that this hospital equipped with 120 oxygen beds was launched by the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on 7th of this month through video conferencing and congratulated the residents of the district for constructing the hospital in a record 20 days. The Mandi godown has been converted into hospitals with the support of public representatives, industries, District Mineral Trust Fund, public cooperation and district administration. Teams of 13 doctors are stationed here.
