Raipur: Dhobi society welcomed the government’s decision to give 6 thousand rupees every year to landless agricultural laborers

Raipur, 29 July 2021. The Mahapanchayat of Chhattisgarh Dhobi Samaj was held in the granddaughter Dhobin Dai premises, Boriyakhurd. In the Mahapanchayat, in the interest of rural landless agricultural laborers, the announcement made by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during the discussion on supplementary budget in the Vidhan Sabha yesterday was described as unprecedented. It is worth mentioning that under this, a financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year has been announced to the landless agricultural labor families of rural areas of the state under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Nyay Yojana.

While virtual inaugurating the Mahapanchayat of Chhattisgarh Dhobi Samaj, National President Shri Krishna Kumar Kanojia-Mumbai said that the Chhattisgarh Government has set an exemplary example by taking the initiative of formation of Rajkkar Development Board to meet the much awaited demand of Chhattisgarh. He said that we will raise this demand in the whole country and will direct the presidents of all the states to make such demand and prepare an action plan. Youth State President of the society Mr. Girdhari Bareth, Member of Mahasamund District Panchayat Mrs. Seema Devanand Nirmalkar, State General Secretary of the society Mr. Chandrahas Nirmalkar, State President Mr. Suraj Nirmalkar and the Mahapanchayat were addressed by people from all walks of life, in which Jheria, Kanojia, Desha, Bundela, Korai, Kosariy, Baiswara etc. were included.
