Nutritious rice is being prepared from Jeeraful variety of Jashpur

Due to the increasing demand of Dheki Kuta Rice in cities and its nutritive value, it is becoming popular day by day. This rice contains more than 40 percent iron, more than 50 percent fiber and vitamins in abundance. It is being produced at Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park in Balachapar on the initiative of District Administration Jashpur. Due to this, women groups are also getting employment.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel always urges to save the scientificity hidden in his tradition. Many of our food traditions are such that they attract a lot of health conscious people. Similar is the battered rice in Dheki. When rice is polished, its vitamins are destroyed to a great extent. Dheki rice is rich in nutritional values. Covered rice is being made in Balachhapar Ripa and its attractive packaging and branding is creating a big market.
The most demanded in Dheki Kuta rice is cumin flower rice. Jashpur district has the highest production of cumin rice. Due to the aromatic variety of rice, its demand is increasing in other states as well. Samarth Jain of Vaidik Vatika told that 13 women of Balachapar are being given training on Dheki Kuta Rice. Along with this, training is also being done for attractive packing of rice. The sale of Dheki Kuta rice is going through C-Mart.
Dheki Kuta rice is considered best from the point of view of nutrition. Along with this, the upper cover of rice remains protected. In which Vitamin E is found abundantly. Rice has better nutritional properties and more than 40 percent iron, more than 50 percent fiber is present. Due to its natural purity, an action plan has been prepared to send this rice to other states with good packing.
