State President Arun Sao reached to meet him on Monday. Where Sav folded his hands and asked everyone to go home.

Arun Saav assured that he will talk to the high command. But in response, BJP supporters from Jashpur said that they are not going to return. Call and talk to us in Delhi and inform us after taking the decision. All these people are opposing giving ticket to Rai Muni from Jashpur seat.

Protest outside BJP headquarters for 3 days

All these villagers reached Raipur from Jashpur on 14 October. They have been protesting outside the BJP state office for the last three days. They want that Ganesh Ram Bhagat should be made the candidate in place of Rai Muni Bhagat. All these people are spending the night outside the office demanding change of candidate. Saav also sat with them and gave advice.

A demonstration of these tribals is going on outside the gate of the state BJP office. Sitting here, Arun Saav listened to him. Sao kept trying to somehow send the protesters back to Jashpur. During this, he also made a request with folded hands. But the protesters remained adamant.

Even after consultation, everyone is still sitting outside the state office. The villagers kept talking with Sav for about 45 minutes. Then Saav went inside the office saying that he would attend the meeting. The tribals stopped outside saying that you should take a decision in some time and inform us. The workers are not working.
The workers who came to protest to State President Arun Sao also said that no worker is campaigning for Raimuni Bhagat. BJP workers are not coming out of their homes. Raimuni is leaving with a few people only. These angry workers also submitted a memorandum to SAW and demanded to make Ganesh Ram Bhagat the candidate.

Why is there anger with Raimuni?
Anuranjan Bhagat, who came from Jashpur, said that in Jashpur, Ganesh Ram Bhagat conducted many movements for the interests of the local tribals, he is a big tribal leader, we are saddened by his being sidelined in this way.

Jashpur’s local BJP leader Shivram Bhagat said that Ganesh Ram Bhagat has been continuously working on issues like cow slaughter and religious conversion. Raimuni Bhagat did not do any such work that he should be given the assembly ticket. Nor does anyone like him, yet a good man has been ignored by giving him the ticket. Muni Bhagat has been made the candidate. All these people are opposing Rai Muni and want that Ganesh Ram Bhagat should be made the candidate.

Raimuni is not being liked by the local workers. BJP’s women leader Karuna Bhagat, who came to protest, said that last time when the party had made Govind Ram Bhagat its candidate, Raimuni Bhagat had started working against the party candidate.
