While addressing the citizens from Pakhanjur, Antagarh Koylibeda area of Kanker district at his residence office here today, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that for the convenience of the general public, there should be no shortage of money for development works in Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koylibeda. will be given. Development works will be done on priority in these areas. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board Chairman Mr. Chandan Kashyap and MLA Mr. Anoop Nag were present in large numbers including common citizens and heads of tribal society from the area.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the government is committed to ensure the rights of water, forest and land to the tribal community. Initiatives are being taken in forest areas to provide them employment through collection and processing of forest produce including forest rights lease. In relation to the demand of the citizens, he said that in Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koylibeda areas, initiative will be taken to approve all the demands including paddy procurement centre, fair price shop, godown, college, hostel for children’s education after testing. He appointed culverts and teachers in these areas, D.M.F. Assured to get the item done soon. Regarding setting up of ethanol plant from maize in Pakhanjur area, he said that if industrialists come forward in this area, permission will be given to set up the plant.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs 20 lakh each for the building of Sarva Adivasi Samaj at Pakhanjur, Koylibeda, Antagarh and Amabeda. Similarly, 20 lakh rupees have been sanctioned for the social building for Bengali society at Pakhanjur and for the building of Majhi society at Garhpratappur in Pakhanjur-Koylibeda area. He sanctioned one lakh rupees to Shri Santosh Kirtaniya of Bandegaon in Pakhanjur for the publication of the literature written by him. During the meeting, the people of Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koylibeda region thanked the Chief Minister for the approval of the construction of Devgudi and Ghotul for the preservation of the culture of tribal society as well as the approval of forest rights leases and invited them to come to the area.
