Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management and in-charge of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal today inaugurated and organized in Bandhamuda Pond Complex of Gaurela and Pendra Nagar Panchayat and Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Pendra, Multipurpose School premises and Gourela and Pendra in Bhumi Pujan Samaroh. Development works worth Rs. 219.99 lakh were given to the residents of the city. He unveiled the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the Nagar Panchayat Pendra. He got the second position in the state in class X board in Bandhamuda pond complex. Kahef Anjum and has announced to give 25 thousand rupees as voluntary donation. 
On this occasion, Minister-in-Charge Mr. Agrawal said that development is taking place in every sector of the district like electricity, water, roads, medicine, education, etc. He said that a continuous series of development works have been made by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the entire state, due to which development of all the areas is taking place. He said that it is a matter of great pleasure that today the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi has been installed in the Nagar Panchayat Pendra. Gaurela Pendra Marwahi has made a separate identity along with being a new district. He said that the district administration is continuously doing better work in the development of the district. The collector is constantly visiting different areas of the district and inspecting various works. New sub-divisions, tehsils, sub-tehsils have also been created for easy disposal of revenue works in the district. A network of roads has been laid in the district so that the development of the people of the district can be done at a faster pace. He said that rapid development is taking place in the urban bodies and rural areas of the district, the Ganges of development is flowing. 
In-charge Minister Mr. Agrawal inaugurated BT road costing Rs 50 lakh under infrastructure head in various wards of Nagar Panchayat Gaurela and beautification work of Bandhamuda pond costing Rs 15 lakh from chairman’s fund, ward number 13 from Shikartola from councilor fund. Performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Shishu Mandir at a cost of Rs 3 lakh. Similarly, he unveiled the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, installed by the Nagar Panchayat Pendra near the Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School in Pendra Nagar Panchayat and the construction work of BT Road from the main road to Sheetla Mandir at a cost of Rs.19 lakh 92 thousand, 7 lakh. Bhoomi Pujan of BT Road construction work from main road to Shailendra Chaturvedi at a cost of Rs 92 thousand and renovation work in Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Multipurpose School Pendra at a cost of Rs 60 lakh, 
In the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan ceremony, MLA Dr. Of. Dhruv, Member of Scheduled Tribes Commission Mrs. Archana Porte, Pendra Nagar Panchayat President Mr. Rakesh Jalan, Gaurela Nagar Panchayat President Mrs. Gangotri Rathore, Alderman of Nagar Panchayat, many public representatives including councilors, Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Choudhary, Superintendent of Police Mr. Trilok Bansal, Distinguished Citizens and villagers were present.
