Devanand Sahu said that an amount of more than Rs 5.5 lakh has been provided by the government for the treatment of breast cancer to his wife under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme.
Mahendra Soni of Shyam Nagar Raipur said that the generic medicine scheme launched by the government has benefited a lot. He told that earlier 4 to 5 thousand rupees had to be spent per month for the medicine of sugar BP, now the complete medicine is available in 5-600.
