Raipur: Devanand of Abujhmad saw the open sky in a helicopter

Even sunlight does not reach Devanand’s village,
thanks to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the joyride,

Devanand Kumeti, the class 10 toppers of the state’s Abujhmad, is not falling on the ground today, because the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has given him a chance to fly in a helicopter. He can’t even express his happiness. Devanand said that even sunlight is very difficult to reach in my village Gumiyapal, so a helicopter ride is no less than a dream. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gave us a chance to touch the sky by helicopter, for which I thank him very much.
Devanand Kumeti of Abujhmadiya community, a special backward tribe of Abujhmad in Narayanpur district, has topped in class 10th from the special backward tribe category. Devanand has studied from Vivekananda Vidyapeeth Narayanpur and has secured 90 percent marks and wants to become an engineer after studying further. He has given the credit of his success to his elder brother Shri Budhram Kumeti. Devanand told that his father Shri Ayatu Ram Kumethi is a farmer, the whole family is getting livelihood from farming. It used to be difficult to reach even basic facilities in his village and home, but with the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, now he is getting the benefit of public welfare schemes run in the state, which is giving new light to his life and by taking advantage of these schemes, Devanand Have reached here today.
