On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, draft papers of Chhattisgarhi Film Policy 2021 have been decided to promote cinema under the guidance of Culture Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat. The Chhattisgarh Film Policy has been published in the Gazette on 13 December 2021 by the Department of Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh. In which provision has been made for film makers, directors, producers, actors of Chhattisgarh and other states to shoot films in different districts and places of Chhattisgarh.
Various types of subsidies, grants have been prescribed under the policy shown in the manual. Annexure 1 to 6.1 in the form, in which provision has been made for subsidy for Hindi film, Chhattisgarhi film production, renovation of cinema hall, construction of new cinema hall, equipment related to cinema etc.
