Participated in Murti Pran Pratishtha program in village Mahamai
In front of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sav, the villagers took a self-motivated pledge not to consume drugs.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao today participated in the Murti Pran Pratishtha program in remote Vananchal village Mahamai of Lormi development block of Mungeli district. The idols of Hanuman ji and Mahamai Dai, which emerged from the underground, were consecrated today in the newly constructed temple. Shri Sav prayed for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state by worshiping the idols of Hanuman ji and Mahamai Dai as per the rituals. The idol of Hanuman ji and Mahamai Dai had automatically emerged from the underground 300 years ago, after which the village is named Mahamai.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao also listened to the problems of Baiga tribals living in Vananchal by setting up Jan Chaupal in Mahamai. He took information about various basic facilities being provided by the government including ration, drinking water, health facilities, electricity, housing, toilets in the village and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. On the demand of the villagers, he announced to give Rs 5 lakh for the community building.
Shri Sao gave information to Baiga tribal women about Mahtari Vandan Yojana and inspired them to take advantage of the scheme. He said that under this scheme, application forms are being taken by the government till 20th February. Married women who are local residents of Chhattisgarh state will be eligible for this. He said that under the scheme, one thousand rupees will be transferred every month by the government to the account of every eligible married woman. This will promote women empowerment and economic self-reliance. The role of women in the family will increase.
In front of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao, the villagers self-motivated and took a pledge not to indulge in drug addiction. The villagers said that they would neither make liquor nor consume liquor. Will also make the society aware about this. Shri Sao appreciated the work being done by the social organization Prayas… a small step for the education and medical treatment of Baiga tribals. He also took blessings from Bade Maharaj Ji Maruti Dham Devarghata for everyone’s prosperity. During this, local public representatives, distinguished citizens and villagers were present in large numbers.
