The cost of exporting 23 thousand kg of herbal gulal is Rs 41.95 lakh.Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today flagged off a truck full of herbal gulal prepared in the state of Chhattisgarh for export to Europe in a program organized at his residence office in Raipur. This herbal gulal has been prepared by the women of self-help group’s Sakhi Cluster Organization Anjora Rajnandgaon and Kumkum Mahila Gram Sangathan Sankara Durg with their dedication and hard work under the guidance of Shree Ganesha Global Gulal Pvt Ltd. The value of 23 thousand 279 kg herbal gulal being exported to Europe is Rs 41 lakh 95 thousand 302. It is noteworthy that as per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, various income-oriented activities are being conducted in Gauthans to make women groups financially self-reliant. Cultivation of flowers especially marigold flower has been started in the community gardens of Gauthans so that women groups can get more income from it. For the manufacture of herbal gulal from flowers, on February 18, 2022, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, an MoU was signed between Shri Ganesha Global Gulal Private Limited and the Director of Horticulture and Farm Forestry, Government of Chhattisgarh. In its first phase, herbal gulal and herbal worship materials are being prepared through 150 women self-help groups. 23 thousand 279 kg herbal gulal prepared by women groups will be sent from Raipur to Mundra port in Gujarat for export to Europe in collaboration with Shree Ganesha Global Gulal Pvt Ltd. export Herbal Gulal is packaged in different sizes and weights. Total price of herbal gulal is 54 thousand 491 US Its price in dollars i.e. Indian rupees is 41 lakh 95 thousand 302 rupees. It is a matter of pride for the state of Chhattisgarh and the self-help groups to export the herbal ingredients prepared by the women groups of Gothan to foreign countries.
