Organization of debate and youth parliament on the impact of personal behavior and habits on environment and climate change

Under the joint auspices of Kalinga University, Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, a debate and youth parliament on the impact of personal behavior and habits on environment and climate change was organized in the Kalinga University campus. The program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of Kalinga University, Dr. R.K. Sridhar did it. At the beginning of the competition, all the students and teachers were administered the oath of environmental protection.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sridhar called upon the youth to come forward to save nature. Senior Scientific Officer Dr. Anita Sawant said that at present we need to change our lifestyle and make it environment friendly. Mandal’s Public Relations Officer, Shri Amar Prakash Sawant said that we should avoid using plastic polythene and use cloth or jute bags.
Kalinga University, Amity University, I.I.I. T., Nava Raipur, Pt. Ravi Shankar University, Mahendra Karma University and Bhilai Institute of Technology, a total of 30 students participated. Out of these 10 students will be selected and sent to New Delhi for East Zone competition. Where this competition will be held on 01 and 02 June.
