Announcement of one crore rupees for Swami Atmanand School and Community Hall in Anda

Chief Minister reached the annual convention of Chandranahu Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj and Dau Vasudev Chandrakar Jayanti celebrations

Late Dau Vasudev Chandrakar’s dream of happy farmers in Chhattisgarh is being fulfilled. The Annadata of Chhattisgarh is very happy. The farmers are very happy with the decision to buy 20 quintals of paddy. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said this in his address at the 53rd annual convention of Chandranahu Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj and Dau Vasudev Chandrakar Jayanti celebrations organized at village Anda in Durg district on the birth anniversary of Dau Vasudev Chandrakar. On this occasion, he announced one crore rupees for the community building of the society and Swami Atmanand School in village Anda. 

Saluting the memories of Dau Vasudev Chandrakar in the programme, the Chief Minister said that Dau Vasudev Chandrakar was a farmer leader. He always stood for the issues of the interests of the farmers. The big decision to buy paddy at the support price became possible because of Dau Vasudev Chandrakar ji. The decision to purchase paddy through the cooperative society was also his thinking. Today more than 2500 paddy procurement centers are operational in Chhattisgarh. We arranged online token this time. There was adequate provision of gunny bags. The rate of milling has also been increased. Paddy has been lifted in the societies in the month of March itself. There is neither the problem of dryness nor of getting wet. New rice mills have opened in large numbers and this year also new rice mills are going to open. People repeatedly demanded Buy 20 quintal paddy per acre. It was decided. In 2017, 12 lakh farmers had sold 60 lakh metric tonnes of paddy, this time 23.5 lakh farmers have sold 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy.

The Chief Minister said that till now Rs 1.5 lakh crore has gone into the account of the common man of Chhattisgarh. Businesses are also booming because of this. In the social sector there was a constant demand for construction of buildings. We have made a rule that 10 percent land will be given for social buildings for backward castes, scheduled castes and tribes. Land is being made available and funds are being made available for the construction of the building. 

Home and PWD Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu was also present on this occasion. He appreciated Chandrakar’s contribution on various fields of society. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vinod Sevenlal Chandrakar, Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, former MLA Mrs. Pratima Chandrakar, Mr. Laxman Chandrakar, Chairman of Apex Bank Mr. Baidyanath Chandrakar, Mr. Ashwini Chandrakar, Mr. Pradeep Chandrakar, Mr. Mukesh Chandrakar, Mr. Kshitij Chandrakar along with A large number of social brothers and officials were present.
