Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today attended the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav and oath taking ceremony organized by District Nagar Kosaria Yadav Mahasabha Rajnandgaon at Padmashree Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Rajnandgaon. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was traditionally greeted by wearing a Khumri. At the function, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to everyone on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. On this occasion, he wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel administered the oath to the newly appointed office bearers of the society. He said that Yadav community is a hardworking society and has always been serving Mother Cow. The path shown by Lord Shri Krishna, We are still following it even today. He said that cow rearing is not only linked to our religious faith but also to the economy. Cow rearing has special importance due to its connection with agriculture. In the present times the situation has changed due to industrialization. To strengthen the economy in rural areas, the government is purchasing cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. On the one hand, through this scheme, cow service has been done, on the other hand, cow herders have sold cow dung worth up to Rs 2 lakh. He said that there are more than 10 thousand Gauthans in the state, out of which 6 thousand Gauthans have become self-reliant. Through Gauthan Committee, Gauthans are gradually becoming self-reliant and this system will continue forever. He said that along with this, cow urine is also being purchased from which Jeevamrit and pesticides are being made. Out of which 6 thousand Gauthans have become self-reliant. Through Gauthan Committee, Gauthans are gradually becoming self-reliant and this system will continue forever. He said that along with this, cow urine is also being purchased from which Jeevamrit and pesticides are being made. Out of which 6 thousand Gauthans have become self-reliant. Through Gauthan Committee, Gauthans are gradually becoming self-reliant and this system will continue forever. He said that along with this, cow urine is also being purchased from which Jeevamrit and pesticides are being made. 
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that crop production in agriculture has increased and farming has become a profitable business in the present times. The third installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be given by the government. He informed that this year 20 quintals of paddy will be purchased per acre. He said that Kodo, Kutki, Ragi and other millets are also being purchased at support price. He said that Krishna Kunj is being constructed by the government in every Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat. Where Peepal, Banyan and other plants of traditional importance are being planted, so that the general public remains connected with trees, plants and nature and can become aware of its importance. The government has done the work of saving the culture of Chhattisgarh. Hareli, Teeja, World Tribal Day, Karma Jayanti, Government holidays have been declared on occasions like Chherchera Punni. He said that Lord Ram is our nephew. Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit has been built in Chhattisgarh. He said that children are being given education in English through Swami Atmanand English Medium Excellent English Medium School. Under the Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Scheme, health facilities are being provided to the general public. He said that the state has to be taken forward by overall development of everyone.
While addressing the President of Chhattisgarh Provincial Kosaria Yadav Samaj, Shri Radhelal Yadav said that the society is getting a lot of benefits from the Narva, Garva, Ghurva and Bari Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana by the government. District President Kosaria Yadav Samaj Mahasamund Shri Vinod Yadav said that Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has done the work of saving the culture and traditions of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel honored 4 cowherds who sold maximum cow dung in the district and 12 shepherds who cooperated the most in the Roka-Chheka campaign to protect crops from grazing by giving them shawls and quinces. An interesting cultural program was presented by the children in the programme.
