Raipur, 19 July 2021. State Sahu Samaj Sangh officials had a courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here today. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for giving proper place to the people of Sahu community in the corporation boards and honored the Chief Minister by presenting a model of Ghani as a symbol.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the delegation said that the villages of Chhattisgarh are becoming self-supporting due to the schemes of the state government. Money is coming in people’s pockets through schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, purchase of forest produce at support price, increase in tendu leaf collection rate, purchase of paddy etc. People are getting employment through the activities of Narva, Garuwa, Ghurva, Bari Yojana and Gauthans. Prosperity is coming in the villages, when our villages will prosper, So Chhattisgarh will also prosper. Industry and trade are also flourishing with money coming into the pockets of the people. The Chief Minister said that the support price of Kodo-Kutki has been declared at Rs.3000 in Chhattisgarh. Efforts are being made to provide employment and source of income to the people through new schemes. Telghani Board was constituted by the state government. People have been entrusted with the responsibility by making appointments in various corporation boards. He said that today is the birth anniversary of Dr. Khubchand Baghel, the visionary of Chhattisgarh’s state formation, we all together will fulfill the dream of a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh state that our forefathers had dreamed of. The Chief Minister urged the people of the society to take maximum benefit of the schemes of the state government. Together we will accomplish that.
