Director of Asia Arts Festival New Delhi, Mr. Ishan Bhalla, called on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Singh at his residence office here this evening. Shri Bhalla appreciated the work being done by the Chhattisgarh government for the establishment of international identity of Chhattisgarh through the National Tribal Dance Festival and for the preservation and promotion of its art and culture. He presented a self-painted artwork of Lord Ganapati to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
Director Mr. Bhalla shared pleasant experiences during his visit to Chhattisgarh with Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. He told that he also got an opportunity to participate in the National Tribal Dance Festival this year. Through this event, the echo of Chhattisgarhi art and culture was heard all over the world. It was a unique event in itself. In which the confluence of the oldest cultures of the world was seen on a single platform. Earlier, where Chhattisgarh was known only as its mineral resources, steel industry and rice bowl, today the identity of the state is being established as a tourism destination in other metros of the country including Delhi. People from the metropolitan cities are coming to Chhattisgarh in large numbers to find moments of relaxation amidst the clean air and natural beauty here. Mr. Ishaan Bhalla told that the food of Delhi is very famous, But after coming here, he became a fan of Chhattisgarhi cuisine. The taste of the traditional dishes here is amazing. Shri Bhalla discussed with the Chief Minister about organizing an international art exhibition here to encourage local art and artists of Chhattisgarh. Shri Avinash Sharma and others were present on this occasion.
