A delegation led by Khujji MLA Smt. Chhanni Chandu Sahu paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here today. The delegation told the Chief Minister that Martyr’s Day is celebrated every year on January 21 to remember the martyrdom of Shri Ramadhin Gond, who died fighting the British on January 21, 1939, during the Jungle Satyagraha in village Badra Tola, Tehsil Churiya of Rajnandgaon district. The delegation invited the Chief Minister to participate in this program to be organized at village Badratola this year. The Chief Minister thanked the delegation for the invitation. The delegation included Mr. Girdhari Lal Sahu, Mrs. Usha Chandravanshi and Mr. Gopidas Sahu.
