The Chief Minister was welcomed by giving coconut saplings and paddy earrings

Representatives of 14 farmers of Thanjavur region, who arrived from Tamil Nadu state, had a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at Circuit House Gariaband this evening. During this, the farmers’ delegation welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting coconut saplings and five varieties of paddy.
Mr. Sundar Vimal, a member of Kaveri River Farmers Association, told that he has come here to meet the Chhattisgarh government after being impressed by the farmer-friendly policies. He informed that paddy is being procured here at the support price. Along with this, per acre bonus amount is also being given to the farmers through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Farmers are getting prosperous due to this.
