of roads under the Chief Minister’s Sugam Sadak Yojana will be done at a faster pace

In Chhattisgarh, continuous work is being done for the construction, widening and repair of roads. With the instructions of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the works of roads are going on continuously in all the districts for smooth movement of the people of the state. Due to the construction of roads in remote rural areas, the doors of development have opened up there, along with ease of transportation.
To make the traffic smooth, work is being done by the state government giving priority to road construction, road widening, renovation and repair. Approval has been given for widening of various roads, construction of new roads and asphalt renewal of roads. With the completion of the asphalting work on the roads, the traffic facility is being made available to the residents of the area and the villagers.
In the last 4 years, administrative approval of Rs 128 crore 18 lakh 91 thousand was given by the government for the construction and renovation of 64 roads of length 193.49 km under Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon and Churia development blocks. Till now, 22.55 kilometer road asphalting, 54.80 kilometer long road asphalting and renovation work has been done at a cost of Rs 30 crore 89 lakh 93 thousand.
Under the Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojana, approval has been given for the construction of access roads worth Rs 11 crore 55 lakh 20 thousand for a total length of 19.77 kilometers of 99 roads. In which 11.60 kilometer road construction work has been completed at a cost of Rs 5 crore 68 lakh 93 thousand. Rs 19 crore 67 lakh 21 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction of 26 buildings under the buildings. The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 6 crore 80 lakh 20 thousand. The building construction work of Swami Atmanand English Medium School is being done at a cost of Rs 2 crore 33 lakh 98 thousand.
