Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today gifted 2715 development works worth Rs 4 thousand 471 crore of 16 departments to the people of the state from the capital Raipur. Addressing the virtual inauguration-bhoomi pujan and foundation stone laying program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence office, he said that all these development works are related to the development of infrastructure which will further improve public facilities. These works are also directly related to our economic development.

    These development works include Bhoomi Pujan of 1121 works costing Rs 2,368 crore, inauguration of 1530 works costing Rs 1705 crore and foundation stone laying of 64 works costing Rs 398 crore. On this occasion, he also virtually inaugurated the newly constructed Chhattisgarh residence with all facilities built at a cost of Rs 60 crore 40 lakh in Dwarka, capital New Delhi and he congratulated and congratulated the people of the state for all these development works.

    The Chief Minister said that in the last 05 years, our government has been completing the construction of infrastructure along with social and economic empowerment on priority. All sections of the state are getting the benefits of our public welfare schemes equally. Our plans were made according to the needs of the people and their effective implementation has given impetus to the development of Chhattisgarh.

    The Chief Minister said that the people of Chhattisgarh have got a new building in the form of Chhattisgarh Niwas to stay in New Delhi. This will remove the problems of accommodation for everyone including the needy people of the state. It is noteworthy that within the last two days, the Chief Minister has gifted construction works worth Rs 10,551 crore related to various departments and public facilities at the state and district level to the people of the state.

    Deputy Chief Minister Shri TS Sihdev joined the program virtually. Shri Singhdev said in his virtual address that the work of taking Chhattisgarh forward will continue like this. These development works will increase the facilities of the common people. In the Chief Minister’s residence office, Public Works Department Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Mr. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu, Principal Secretary Home Mr. Manoj Pingua, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Ankit Anand, Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Mr. S. . Senior officials including Bharathidasan participated. Apex Bank Chairman Shri Baijnath Chandrakar participated in the program virtually.

Chhattisgarh residence is equipped with all facilities

    The newly constructed Chhattisgarh Residence in Dwarka, the country’s capital New Delhi, at a cost of Rs 60 crore 42 lakh, has a total of 61 rooms and 13 suites. This building is equipped with modern facilities. This building has been prepared for the convenience of Chhattisgarh people going to Delhi for government or personal work. Besides, patients and their families going to Delhi for medical reasons will also have the facility to stay in this building. It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh Government already has two buildings in Delhi, but in view of the increasing need, the need for a third building was also felt. This new building is four storeyed. In which all dining, waiting, conference halls, guest rooms, door meters, residential lifts along with parking facilities have also been provided.

These works were also inaugurated, ground-breaking ceremony and foundation stone laid. 

       In the Bhoomi Pujan, inauguration and foundation stone laying program by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, 19 works worth Rs 1284.42 crore were completed in the Energy Department, 1192 works worth Rs 404.02 crore in the Forest and Climate Change Department, 31 works worth Rs 126.22 crore in the Higher Education Department. Works, 30 works costing Rs 101.81 crore in Home Department, 03 works costing Rs 49.88 crore in CREDA Department, 17 works costing Rs 533.32 crore in Housing and Environment Department, 03 works costing Rs 362.81 crore in Public Health Engineering Department 09 works, 04 works costing Rs 99.91 crore in Medical Education Department, 146 works costing Rs 816.62 crore in Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, 06 works costing Rs 13.85 crore in Raipur Smart City Limited, Rs 72.34 crore in Transport Department. 03 works costing Rs 133.76 crore, 10 works costing Rs 133.76 crore in Scheduled Tribe Department,11 works costing Rs 146.53 crore in Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation, 331 works costing Rs 172.06 crore in Department of Agriculture and Technology, 02 works costing Rs 144.5 crore in Public Works Department and 02 works costing Rs 9.8 crore in Apex Bank. 01 construction work is involved.
