According to the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, many innovative schemes and programs are being operated to provide relief and convenience to the people of the state. In the coming time, other important schemes and programs will be started by the state government for the fulfillment of this objective. Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain reviewed the outline and implementation of these schemes in detail in a meeting organized through video conferencing of senior officers of the state today.
Chief Secretary Shri Jain reviewed the priority schemes of the government in the meeting. These schemes will be implemented by the Finance Department, GST, Revenue, Health, Home, Energy, Urban Administration, NIC, Information and Technology, Housing and Environment, Forest, Minor Forest Produce Association, Commerce and Industry, General Administration Department. Mainly in the meeting, discussions were held on preparing a draft for the compilation of information of the beneficiaries of these schemes and programs and the activities required to give them a concrete shape and setting the time-limit for them. The Chief Secretary has said in the meeting that the works related to public interest should be completed within the time-limit.
In the meeting, senior officers of the concerned departments presented detailed information regarding the action plan of their respective departments in relation to the implementation of the new schemes. Reviewing the action plan presented to deal with the loss in revenue due to the closure of GST compensation after June in the year 2022, Shri Jain has said that in other states similar to the economic environment of the state of Chhattisgarh, the trend of GST after June. should be monitored. If better works have been done in other states in this area, then necessary action should be taken to implement them in Chhattisgarh. By taking the services of subject experts, Shri Jain has given instructions to prepare a detailed action plan to increase the revenue for all the revenue generating departments. He has said that work should be started by the end of February by taking the services of financial experts.
While reviewing the online monitoring of problems related to revenue, health, police, electricity and urban bodies at the government level, Chief Secretary Shri Jain urged the Energy Department, Health Department, Home, Revenue and Urban Administration to expedite this work and for quality resolution. Instructions have been given to constitute a joint team of officers of the department.
The Chief Secretary directed to submit the detailed information of rural pattas to be held free from district level to tehsil level by the end of February. For the implementation of the scheme, instructions were given to complete the process of necessary amendment in the Land Revenue Code at the earliest. During the review of online approval of the layout of five thousand square feet of land in the investment areas of the Municipal Corporation, the Chief Secretary has said that the online process for approval of the layout in the investment areas should be given wide publicity, so that the eligible persons-institutions easy to take advantage of.
While reviewing the establishment of the proposed Kodo-Kutki processing unit at Nathia Navagaon in Kanker district, Shri Jain directed the Commerce and Industry and Minor Forest Produce Association to jointly submit the detailed action plan by March. While reviewing the online approval of building permission for five thousand square feet of land in municipal areas, the Chief Secretary has said that the cases of building permission approved in the last two-three years and the building permission cases approved after the online process started from January 3. The information should be prepared and reviewed regularly. For ethanol production in the state, 27 MoUs worth Rs 4800 crore have been signed by various ethanol companies. Through these, an annual target of producing more than 100 crore liters of ethanol has been set. The Chief Secretary instructed to keep in constant touch with these ethanol companies and speed up the production of ethanol. Is. Along with this, instructions have been given to increase the contract process for additional purchase of ethanol by ethanol companies. Instructions have been given by the Urban Administration Department to start the home access service of public utility services before March 31.
