Full transparency in tubewell mining work

The complaint of irregularities in tube well mining in 5 tussar centers of Surguja district has been found to be baseless and beyond facts. In the investigation report of the said case, Additional Director of Silk Department has made it clear that Rs. 12 lakh 63 thousand 490 was given to Deputy Director Silk Ambikapur district Surguja for tubewell mining and motor installation in five tussar centers. For the implementation of this work, Public Health Engineering Department, Raipur was appointed as the agency and the entire amount of administrative approval i.e. Rs 12 lakh 63 thousand 490 was also paid.
Additional Director Resham has also mentioned in his report that tube well mining work has been completed by PHE at five centers and motor installation has also been done at 2 centers, water availability at the remaining three centers is very less. Motor installation could not be done due to this and the total amount of three motor pumps has been deposited in the departmental account of State Bank of India by the Public Health Engineering Department, Raipur. The work of tubewell mining and pump installation has been done with full transparency. A letter has been sent by Deputy Director Resham Ambikapur to give the work completion certificate and utilization certificate of the amount to the construction agency. Tubewell mining work has been done in Tussar centers on the basis of water requirement.
