Raipur: Compensation will be given after survey of houses damaged by flood in Kirandul

Compensation will be given soon for the houses damaged by flood in Kirndul. The revenue staff is conducting a survey of the damaged houses. Collector Dantewada has instructed the revenue staff to complete the survey work regarding the damage to houses, pets etc. soon.

The district administration of Dantewada is cleaning the roads of Kirandul with the help of copper tractor machine due to waterlogging caused by rain. Arrangements are also being made for the flood affected families to stay in the local Mangal Bhavan and food etc. The administration team has also started the survey of damaged houses. On the basis of which the damage will be assessed and compensation will be given to them. When the weather becomes normal, other problems of the flood affected people will be resolved.

It is worth noting that due to continuous rains in Kirndul of Dantewada district for the last few days, the rivers were in spate due to which the dam built by NMDC on the Kirndul hill was damaged. Due to the flood of water containing debris and boulders from the damaged dam, about 150 houses in the area around the dam were damaged, apart from this, domestic animals were swept away and vehicles were also damaged.
